2022Q1 - RI Political Expenditures

Moving into 2022-Q1 with the election year in full swing, campaign accounts spent a total of ~$3,719,190.88 from 6,363 transactions an increase of +1,419,396 from 2021-Q4. With Seth Magaziner's pivot to the CD-2 race, he refunded a bunch (probably all?) of his donations, the most ever in a single quarter (2nd is 571,363 from Cicilline in 2010-Q1).

2022Q1 - RI Political Contributions

Jumping into the campaign year with 2022-Q1 finance data campaigns raised a total of ~$4,809,597 from 12,593 transactions an increase of +1,150,846 from 2021-Q4. With Ashley Kalus's entrance to the race for governor she jumped into the second spot largely due to a $500,000 (and 20?) loan.

2021Q4 - RI Political Expenditures

Wrapping up the year with 2021-Q4 Campaign Expenditures, moving into the election year spending is heating up. Coming in at $2,273,368.76 spent in 5,066 transactions across 38 different states. These include aggregate expenditure, campaign expenditure, repayment of loans and refunds of contributions.

2021Q4 - RI Political Contributions

Wrapping up 2021 with the Q4 campaign finance data. In total campaign accounts have brought in ~$3,629,887 dollars from 13,582 records an increase of +1,268,539 from Q3. With news of Langevin not seeking reelection Magaziner has stepped out of the governors race and into the race for congress however he will still appear in these totals as its from Q4, prior to the news.
