This is an interactive dashboard that shows number of average daily avaiable inpatient and ICU beds at Rhode Island Hospital. Data is from the HHS hospital utilization data hub which provides detailed infromation related to number of beds and number occupied by covid-19 positive patients.

ERA1 is a rental assistance program that provides up to 25 billion under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, which was enacted on December 27, 2020. The funds are provided directly to states, U.S. territories, local governments. This dashboard shows the percent of total money allocated to each state which has been spent as of January - July 31st.

This infographic(ish) graphic shows the Rhode Island General Assembly's total number of session days each year and the total number of floor votes broken down by chamber. Senate data prior to 2016 is blank due to them not having any floor votes listed on the website.

Rhode Island Dept. of Health has stopped updating most of the datasets around overdoses like tracking fentanyl, drug type, age, gender and emergency room visits. Currently this is the only updated dataset, total deaths by month, though numbers 4 months back are still pending. The blue bar shows full-year data up to 2021, the green bar shows YTD as of the most recent non-pending month for 2021.

Bills in Rhode Island face a big hurdle, making it out of committee and not being "Held for Further Study". Once a bill is introduced and sent to committee, the first vote it recieves is whether or not it should be "Held for Further Study". A bill held for further study is indefinitely postpone, however can be considered again by committee with approval from the speaker. This looks at fate of all the bills in 2021 and how many have made it past being held to continue down the legislative pipeline.

Last week the community raised over $2,000,000 dollars for non-profits in Rhode Island through 401Gives. 401Gives is a 24-hour fundraising campaign online using the platform GiveGab. Using the leaderboard api from GiveGab I collected general information about donations and visualized the data using Tableau, sadly the records lack any datetime records, so no breakdown by hour was possible.
